Arun Kumar Singh: Director

Having completed his graduation from Patna Science College in 1976 with a major in physics, Arun Kumar Singh cracked Civil Services Examination in the year 1977 & joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Service in 1978. Though selected also for I. P. S., he chose to place it aside and join the Audit Service, choosing a quiet service with a lot of prestige attached to it. He later served in many states as Accountant General and Principal Accountant General, auditing the state government’s accounts.

He also served in Delhi in a few offices and handled audits of PSUs and central government departments. Finally, he served as Deputy CAG of India finalizing Union government reports on various civil ministries and departments that included finalizing reports on monuments and artifacts at various archaeological sites and museums, on National Rural Health Scheme, Rshtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, Indira Awas Yojana, urban renewal scheme and rural electrification scheme, etc. For last couple of years Arun Kumar Singh is also mentoring young innovators who have developed innovative technologies to tackle environmental problem such as high carbon emission in cities, toxic fumes coming out of brick kilns, plastic floating on water bodies, etc.

Gyan Mohan

He is a career banker with exposure in all facets of Banking and Finance including investment and international banking. He has over 40 years’ experience in Banking-finance including top Management posts in SBI, SBI Capital Market, IDBI Cap, Power Exchange, India Fortune Financial Services Limited, and SIS Limited. In his thirty years of experience of working with SBI, he has been exposed to all facets of banking viz. Retail, Corporate, Investment Banking, and International Banking.

He is currently heading Adi Chitragupta Finance Limited (ACFL), the only NBFC-MFI headquartered in Bihar and registered with the Reserve Bank of India, Patna. ACFL tends to improve the economic condition of the underserved poor through cost-effective financial products with exemplary client services, riding on the best technology, along with bringing about financial literacy and skill improvement. ACFL till now has assisted 1.6 lakhs clients with 69% of them are from the agriculture sector and has disbursed around 500 crores. Mr. Mohan serves as Director on Governing Board of Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN), (A self-regulatory organisation accredited by RBI). He is the chairman of Task Force on Small & Medium MFIs at MFIN and is an active member of Task Force on Credit Bureau and a state initiative task force. He thus participates in key policy-making and advocacy in the MFI sector.

Dr. Satyajit Kumar Singh

Dr. Satyajit Kr. Singh, the managing director and a guiding force behind the establishment of the famous Ruban Memorial Hospital, Patna, is a well-renowned and highly experienced Urologist based in Patna, Bihar. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Urology & Andrology. An alumnus of the prestigious Patna Medical & College Hospital (PMCH), Dr. Satyajit has always been doing his bit for the society. In April 1971, during 3rd year of his medical education in PMCH, he took the initiative to set up a medical relief camp with a team of medical students and physicians at West Bengal-East Bengal border, during the then ongoing Bangladesh war, treating refugees and border guards alike, for which he was awarded with the prestigious ‘PMCH College Colour’. Post MS in Patna, he moved to the United Kingdom for his further studies where he later established his private practice. Then he moved to Saudi Arabia and joined an American Hospital for 2 years as a consultant urologist before coming back to Bihar in 1996. After working for 17 years in an international ambience, he left a thriving overseas career to establish Ruban Memorial Hospital.
